A full house at the Charlotte branch

Our Stone Fabrication Workshop filled the demonstration hall at our Charlotte branch for a day built entirely around countertop and slab work. Attendees were a mix of established fabricators looking to add capacity and a few newer shops evaluating their first CNC bridge saw or stone machining centre.

What we covered

The morning session ran a Lithocore bridge saw and a stone CNC centre back to back on granite and quartz, so visitors could see straight cuts, miters and templated edge work side by side. In the afternoon our applications engineers walked through edge-profiling and polishing options, and answered a steady stream of questions about water reclamation, slurry handling and dust control — the parts of a stone shop that rarely make it into a spec sheet but decide whether a layout actually works.

What attendees asked about most

Three topics came up again and again: how to plan slab storage and infeed around a new bridge saw, whether a combination saw-jet cell makes sense before volume justifies a dedicated CNC stone centre, and how our service team supports machines once they're several years old. We also fielded a lot of questions about used and trade-in equipment, which is a growing part of our Charlotte inventory.
