FW-4 HotWire
The FW-4 HotWire cuts EPS, XPS and polyurethane foam with a resistance-heated wire instead of a blade, leaving a clean, melted edge with no crumbling or dust. A 4-axis frame — X, Y, plus two independently driven towers — cuts straight profiles, tapers and compound curves across a 2000 x 1000 x 800 mm (79" x 39" x 31") envelope, while an optional rotary turntable adds true 3D profiles like columns and architectural mouldings. The Formavex EdgeLogic control imports DXF and STL files directly, and wire temperature and feed speed are tuned per foam density from a stored material library.
