Brenvoss builds 5-axis machining centres and CNC grinding, and Tollaston is an authorized dealer across Canada and the US. The line is German-engineered and suits aerospace, medical and mold-and-die shops needing one-setup, multi-face precision. We carry the BX5-400, BX5-650 and BX5-1000 trunnion 5-axis machines, and the BG-S650 and BG-C400 grinders, all sharing the Brenvoss Vantis 5X control (Vantis G on the grinders). Every purchase includes a real test on your own material or parts at our Vaughan Tech Centre, applications engineering from your first quote through your first production run, Brenvoss parts stocked in our Vaughan warehouse, and factory-trained service technicians across Canada and the US.

5-axis trunnion machining centre
BX5-1000
The BX5-1000 scales the Brenvoss trunnion platform up to a 1,000 mm table and 800 kg load rating for customers whose parts have simply outgrown the BX5-650. An HSK-A100 spindle delivering 200 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm handles heavier structural aerospace components and large mold tooling that need 5-axis access but also need real metal-removal rate. The A-axis tilts -30° to +110° with continuous C-axis rotation, giving the same reach into compound angles as the smaller models on a much larger part envelope. Tollaston installs the BX5-1000 for shops doing large airframe structural work, big impeller housings, and heavy mold bases that need every face finished without a re-fixture.

5-axis trunnion machining centre
BX5-400
The BX5-400 is Brenvoss's entry into simultaneous 5-axis machining, built around a 400 mm trunnion table for parts that need multiple compound angles finished in a single setup. An HSK-A63 spindle spinning to 18,000 rpm and a continuous C-axis with -30° to +120° of A-axis tilt let it reach faces a 3-axis machine would need three separate fixtures for. Tollaston sets this machine up most often for shops moving into aerospace bracket or medical implant work for the first time, where the accuracy and the setup reduction matter more than raw table size. Our applications engineers develop your post-processor and first simultaneous 5-axis program in the Vaughan Tech Centre so you aren't learning the toolpath strategy and the machine at the same time.

BX5-650
The BX5-650 is the 5-axis machine most Tollaston customers settle on once complex parts move from occasional prototypes into a steady production schedule. Its 650 mm trunnion table takes a 400 kg load, an HSK-A63 spindle turns 15,000 rpm as standard with a 20,000 rpm option, and the same continuous C-axis and wide A-axis tilt as the BX5-400 give it the reach for deep pockets and undercuts a 3-axis machine simply can't get to. It's the platform we recommend for shops running impeller, turbine, aerospace structural or complex mold work at real volume, and it's the flagship of the Brenvoss line for good reason: the table size and spindle power sit right at the sweet spot most 5-axis buyers actually need.

CNC cylindrical grinder
BG-C400
The BG-C400 rounds out the Brenvoss grinding line with cylindrical capability for shafts, pins, rolls and round tooling that need OD finish grinding after hardening. A 400 mm swing, 1,000 mm between centres and an 11 kW wheel spindle cover the bulk of round precision work Tollaston sees from hydraulic cylinder, pump shaft and precision roll manufacturers. The same ±0.002 mm positioning accuracy as the BG-S650 carries over, and both machines share the Brenvoss Vantis G control, so a tooling department running both surface and cylindrical grinding trains its operators once. It's the natural companion to the BG-S650 for shops that need round parts finished to the same standard as their flat and profiled work.

CNC surface and profile grinder
BG-S650
The BG-S650 is Brenvoss's surface and profile grinder, built for the finish-grinding step that follows hardening and heat treatment on tool steel components, punches and precision plates. A 650 x 300 mm table, ±0.002 mm positioning accuracy and a 7.5 kW wheel spindle spanning 1,800 to 3,600 rpm cover flat surface work and profiled forms alike. Tollaston installs the BG-S650 most often in tooling departments finishing parts after EDM or heat treatment, where flatness and parallelism callouts are tighter than a milling or turning operation can hold on its own. The Brenvoss Vantis G control handles both simple surface passes and programmed profile forms without swapping software.
