Kaizora builds vertical and horizontal machining centres and CNC lathes and turning centres, and Tollaston is an authorized dealer across Canada and the US. The line is Japanese-engineered and suits job shops running their first CNC through production shops running multiple shifts. We carry the KV-560, KV-800 and KV-1100 VMCs, the KH-500 and KH-630 HMCs, and the KT-250, KT-400Y and KM-2600 turning centres, all sharing the Kaizora Nexa 5 control (Nexa 5T on the turning centres). Every purchase includes a real test on your own material or parts at our Vaughan Tech Centre, applications engineering from your first quote through your first production run, Kaizora parts stocked in our Vaughan warehouse, and factory-trained service technicians across Canada and the US.

3-axis vertical machining centre
KV-1100
The KV-1100 is the machine Tollaston quotes when a customer's part, or their fixture, has outgrown a standard 40-taper mill. A 1,300 x 600 mm table rated to 1,200 kg, 1,100 mm of X-travel and a 22 kW BT50 spindle turning 220 Nm of torque let it hog heavy steel and cast-iron sections that would stall a smaller machine. Despite the size, it holds the same ±0.006 mm positioning accuracy buyers expect from the KV line, and the 40-station magazine keeps complex, multi-operation parts running without a manual changeover. We install the KV-1100 most often for die/mold shops and heavy-industrial contract manufacturers who need one machine to do the roughing and the finishing.

KV-560
The KV-560 is Kaizora's entry point into production-grade vertical machining, built for job shops and toolrooms that need to move between parts quickly without giving up rigidity. A BT40 direct-drive spindle, box-way construction on all three axes, and a 24-station arm-type changer keep cycle times tight on aluminum, steel and stainless alike. Tollaston's applications engineers set up the majority of first-time CNC buyers on this platform because the Kaizora Nexa 5 control's conversational programming shortens the learning curve without limiting what an experienced programmer can do with it later. It is the machine we recommend when the floor space and the budget are both tight but the part mix is not.

KV-800
The KV-800 is the machine most Tollaston customers land on once they outgrow a job-shop mill and need a platform that can run unattended for a full shift. An 800 mm X-travel, a 700 kg table load rating and a 15 kW BT40 spindle (HSK-A63 optional) give it the muscle for steel and stainless production work, while a 30-station changer keeps complex parts moving without operator intervention. We run every KV-800 through a documented time study on your actual part in our Vaughan Tech Centre before it ships, so the cycle time you're quoted is the cycle time you get on your shop floor, not a catalogue number. It is our flagship recommendation for shops scaling from prototype into repeatable production.

KH-500
The KH-500 is Kaizora's entry horizontal machining centre, built around a 500 x 500 mm pallet and a 2-station automatic pallet changer so one part finishes machining while the next is loaded. A BT40, 18.5 kW spindle and a 40-station matrix magazine handle multi-face steel and aluminum parts without a single manual re-fixture, which is the whole reason shops move from vertical to horizontal in the first place. Tollaston sets this machine up most often for job shops taking on their first true lights-out production job, where the pallet changer alone recovers hours of operator time every week. KH-630
The KH-630 steps up to a 630 x 630 mm pallet, a BT50 spindle and a 60-station magazine for shops running heavier castings and higher-volume multi-face parts than the KH-500 is sized for. Its 26 kW spindle delivers 340 Nm of torque for steel and cast-iron roughing, while the same 2-station pallet changer architecture keeps the spindle cutting instead of waiting on a manual load. We typically move customers up to the KH-630 when their part size or their annual volume outgrows a 500 mm pallet — it's a straightforward upgrade path because the Kaizora Nexa 5 control and programming approach carry over directly from the KH-500.

mill-turn multitasking centre
KM-2600
The KM-2600 is Kaizora's mill-turn flagship — a true multitasking centre that combines a 30 kW main turning spindle, a synchronized 22 kW sub-spindle, and a 12,000 rpm B-axis milling spindle in one machine. Parts that used to travel between a lathe, a mill and back to a lathe again finish in one setup, with the sub-spindle picking off the part for back-working while the main spindle starts the next piece. Tollaston recommends the KM-2600 for shops running complex shafts, valve bodies or housings where setup time and work-in-process, not raw cycle time, are the real cost. It's a bigger investment and a bigger learning curve than a live-tool lathe, which is why our applications engineers build your complete process plan and prove it out in the Vaughan Tech Centre before your team ever touches the machine.

2-axis CNC lathe
KT-250
The KT-250 is Kaizora's entry-level turning centre, built for toolrooms and job shops that need reliable 2-axis turning without the cost of a live-tool platform. A 200 mm hydraulic 3-jaw chuck, 51 mm bar capacity and a 12-station bolt-on turret cover the bulk of shaft, flange and bushing work most shops see day to day. Tollaston sets this machine up as the first lathe for shops moving off manual turning equipment, or as a second machine to take routine turning off a busier mill-turn platform. The Kaizora Nexa 5T control shares its interface with our VMC and HMC lines, so an operator already trained on a Kaizora mill picks up the lathe controls quickly.

CNC turning centre with live tooling and Y-axis
KT-400Y
The KT-400Y adds a Y-axis and 12 live-tool stations to Kaizora's turning platform, so parts that used to move to a mill for cross-holes, flats or off-center features finish complete on the lathe. A 250 mm hydraulic chuck, 65 mm bar capacity and driven tooling to 6,000 rpm cover most complex turned-part work without a second machine or a second setup. This is the turning centre Tollaston recommends most often once a shop's parts start needing more than a straight OD/ID and a chamfer — the Y-axis in particular opens up off-center milling and drilling that a standard turret geometry can't reach cleanly. It shares the Kaizora Nexa 5T control with the rest of the line, so programming carries over from a simpler lathe.
